# Minting

Passports will be pre-minted and sold in batches on Nitro Cartel’s custom AMM. Below is a schedule for each round.

The fundamental functions enabling buying, selling, and minting will leverage the ERC-4626 tokenized vault standard.

This involves the `mint` and `deposit` function. These function involve minting  vault `shares` (passports) to receiver by depositing assets of underlying tokens, and granting ownership of shares to receiver.
